Cape Coral Community Church is the exclusive sponsor for Todo Mundo Feliz, a school in Brazil that brings Christ to the children and keeps them off the streets and out of the hands of drug running gangs.

In October, 2018 we were blessed with the ability to go to Brazil and meet the children we support. We sponsor the children of Todo Mundo Felize through International Childcare Ministries (ICCM), individually sponsor children, and raise funds for the school

There are more children that need your help and sponsorship. For more information, feel free to contact us at   info@capecoralchurch.com.

About Brazil

Brazil is the fifth largest country in the world and sixth in population. Its size compares to the size of the U.S. with a second Texas added on. The Brazilian land mass holds 47 persons per square mile. Half the population lives in the south central region.

Portuguese (with Indian dialects) remains the official language of the country. Some groups speak Japanese.

Brazilian farmers produce 30% of the world’s total coffee crop each year. The country is also a leader in the production of cacao beans, soybeans, corn, cattle, sheep, oranges, and pineapples. Brazil relies on coffee and fruits as their main exports.

In spite of having a productive economy, a great contrast exists between the wealthy and extremely poor. The middle to upper class live comfortable lives. These fast-growing classes are, however, outnumbered by the poor. Many poverty-stricken families live in city slums, called favelas, or rural areas, which suffer from drought and floods. Most rural Brazilians earn little money.

The staple foods of beans, rice and flour ground from manioc root supply perhaps the only nourishment to the extremely poor people.
