Our Pastors

David Rigby

David Rigby

Lead Pastor

Pastor David, his wife Linda, and their girls (Danielle, Erin, & Ashleigh) moved here in 1995 after David received a message from the Lord to go to Cape Coral, Florida.  Originally Canadians, they have adapted well to the warmer climate and are very much Floridians today.  David has studied theology in both Canada and the States and devotes himself to being a “life-long learner” as an avid reader.  David has served and led churches since 1973 but you often hear David say this is his favorite church.  He says you can’t help but to fall in the love with the people here.  David is passionate researcher and offers a wealth of information when he delivers the Lord’s Word to others.

Melquias Olivio

Pastor

Melquias Olivio, originally from Sao Paulo, Brazil, moved to the United States in 1998 with his family, where his father, a pastor, was invited to plant a Brazilian Church in New Jersey. Married to Kelcia and have two beautiful children, Lucas and Melissa and have lived in Cape Coral since 2008. On October of 2018, met Pastor David Rigby and went on a missions trip to Brazil, where they had an amazing experience with God. After days of prayer and confirmation, accepted an invitation to serve at Cape Coral Community Church, as he continues his studies of theology for ordination as a pastor.  He has served in many ministries at a local church (children, youth, young adults, worship, evangelism, special events, missions, discipleship) and it has been his pleasure and honor to serve at CCCC as he continues to pursue this new chapter of ministry in his life by having a passion to reach lives for Jesus Christ and glorify our Heavenly Father.

Manoel & Maria de Lourdes Olivio

Brazilian Pastor

Pastor Manoel and his wife, Maria, wanted to plant a Brazilian church in Cape Coral so they prayed about it and God opened the doors. The first service only had their family in attendance but through continued prayer, two families of six joined them and soon after God sent more people.  Today they have about 20 people that attend regularly. They have now performed two baptisms and continue to grow each week.  They are grateful for Pastor David and CCCC for opening the doors without reservation to allow them fulfil the vision God gave them.
